Goodbye His & Hers, Hello Five of Our Favorite Things!

Hello friends!!  We sincerely apologize for the lack of posts and radio silence on His & Hers over the past month.  With so much on our plates these days, it's been difficult to keep up with the work required to update this blog on a daily basis.  For that reason, we've decided to simplify things a bit by launching an entirely new blog, called Five of Our Favorite Things.  

Our Friday Five Things post on His & Hers was the one post we really loved sharing each week.  Therefore, we wanted to create a space where we could continue blogging, in a more simplified fashion, and continue capturing those Five Things that make each week extra special.  We hope you'll join us over {HERE} at our new blogging home where each week we'll share Five of Our Favorite Things!!

A final thank you to all who have followed along here during our His & Hers journey!!  We look forward to creating a new journey on our new blog.

Happy Friday, friends!!  Since we took a little blogging break, missing the past two {Five} of Our Favorite Things, on this Friday we wanted to share a collection of our favorites over the past several weeks.  Wishing all of you a wonderful weekend!!

His & Hers - Date Nights

The {His} and I planned a little movie date this past weekend to see Argo, which was fantastic by the way!!  If you haven't seen it, add it to your list of "must sees."  With how busy our lives are these days, we really try our best to get at least one date night in a week.  Whether it's a quiet one at home or heading out on the town, we look forward to these distraction-less nights together all week regardless of the activity.  It's our opportunity to set all other things aside {work, school, to do lists, etc., etc., etc.} and just be ~ me and my man.

Have you ever considered going blonde??  Maybe even taking your hair from a rich, dark chocolate to a bright, golden platinum??  I once did, as you can see {here}... A classically designed and well-constructed weekend duffel is a great investment piece ~ an essential that's worth spending a little extra on, if it can last you a lifetime and {literally} take you a lot of places.  Several years back the {His} invested in a Mulholland Brother's weekend duffel, which looks as good today as it did the day he purchased it.  We both fell for it's timeless style and obvious durability, and over the years we've only grown to love it more as we've watched it stand the test of time.  We're obsessed with this beautiful weekender, which may be one of our all-time favorite unisex picks.  If you're in the market for a weekend duffel, we say {this} guy's a must buy!!

Happy October 1st!!  As we head into the heart of the fall season and are only weeks away from Halloween, I had to share this beautiful homage to Daphne Guinness in S Magazine.  So appropriate for this time of year ~ layered, darkly hued, and glamorously costume-esque.  Here's to a happy and fabulously haunting October...
